He started his football career in the youth team of NK Olimpija Ljubljana, where his performances quickly drew attention. In the 2023/2024 season, he scored 18 goals in 26 games for Olimpija’s cadet team, which is a remarkable achievement for a midfielder.

His talent and dedication earned him his first professional contract with Olimpija, which he signed in July 2024.

At national team level, Pečjak is a regular member of Slovenian youth teams, where his performances confirm his status as one of the most promising players of his generation.
