Vidov\u0161ek first commented on his readiness and the team’s condition: “After personal matters and an absence in the autumn, the time has come for my return. I am healthy and feeling good, ready for everything that follows in the rest of the season. During preparations, we had enough time to come together as a team. In the first part of the season, we faced certain challenges due to coaching changes and a huge number of matches (especially during the summer). Now we have come together and are more connected. I believe that our results will improve.”<\/p>\n
He also highlighted Olimpija’s goals for the rest of the season: “Winning the cup is a big goal, but we also need to gain many places in the league standings. We know that Olimpija should not be in 5th place. I hope that the fans will continue to stand by us, and that together we will move back towards the top.”<\/p>\n
Bessone did not hide his satisfaction with Vidov\u0161ek’s return between the posts: “Vida brings new energy, especially because he is a great personality in the locker room and a true leader in the team. Sometimes, when you are in a bad position, you need players like him. Players who take responsibility and thereby lift others on the field.”<\/p>\n
Regarding tomorrow’s opening of the spring part of the season, he added: “Tomorrow we face a tough match because Mura is in the lower part of the table and wants to escape it at all costs. Of course, all teams give more than 100 percent when they play against Olimpija. Nevertheless, we are playing at home, we had good preparations, and I believe we will be successful at the start of the calendar year.
