Young central defender Marko Risti\u0107 has extended his contract with Olimpija and will wear the green and white jersey at least until the summer of 2029, with the option to extend the collaboration for an additional year.<\/p>\n
The former youth team captain has made 42 appearances for the Dragons’ senior team so far, scoring one goal and contributing two assists. In the 2024\/25 season, he won the national championship title with Olimpija and also left a significant mark with his performances in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League. <\/p>\n
Risti\u0107 said: “I am very happy that the club has shown faith in me with a new contract, as playing for Olimpija means a great deal to me. This is confirmation of the hard work I’ve put in so far, which at the same time motivates me to work even harder in the future and continue to develop. I want to repay all the fans and the entire club for their support by giving my all on the pitch every minute and fighting with the utmost dedication for the crest I wear on my chest. After last year’s serious knee injury and long rehabilitation, I am all the more grateful to the club for all the support and help I received on the road to recovery.”<\/p>\n
