The juniors showed a better performance at Žak and deservedly defeated the leading team Mura in extra time. Vall Janković and Marcel Petrov made the turning point in the second half.

Head coach Boštjan Miklič: “We are very happy with the victory! Especially the second half was very good from our side. Despite the deficit, Mura took the lead after our mistake, we continued with confidence. We changed a few tactical things, stepped up and didn’t let Mura breathe. A well-deserved win is extremely important for us, because points like this count double. Kudos to everyone, including the reserves. Young Ačimović made his debut and immediately showed the talent he possesses. With an assist he made the comeback, and of course congratulations to all the boys. They fought until the end, and we have to continue this rhythm next week when we play against Krka. The final goal is clear, so we hope for the best.”

Young Dragons jumped to the third place of the EON NEXTGEN league with another league win! After 11 games played, Boštjan Miklič’s team has 21 points and is only two points behind the leading team Brinje.
