Club statement: Joao Henriques

Joao Henriques is no longer the head coach of Olimpija Ljubljana. The 50-year-old Portuguese took over the Dragons on 1st of June and later managed them in 21 official matches. He has nine wins, four draws and eight defeats. During his leadership, the Olimpija team achieved historic success by qualifiying to the UEFA Europa Conference Leauge, and one of the biggest transfers in the club’s history was also made during this period.

Despite all the achievements together, Joao Henriques and the board of NK Olimpija Ljubljana have decided to part ways. Assistants Mauro Moderno and Jose Serrao are leaving the club.
