The first professional contract for Ristić

Marko Ristić signed a professional contract with FC Olimpija until 2027! The U19 team captain and a member of Slovenia’s youth squad will join the team during the summer training camp.

The Dragons’ defender had the following to say upon signing the contract: “I am happy to have signed my first professional contract. I feel this will take me a step further toward my goals. It’s time to show what I’m capable of!” Marko already played his first game with the senior squad. His debut was in the round of 16 against Nafta: “Yes, I have already played with the team, they gave me an opportunity during a cup game. The mood in the team is great, everyone was welcoming. I look forward to joining them in practice soon, so I can hone my skills. I think the match in Lendava helped me sign my first contract.”

We are happy we signed a long-term contract with Marko since we believe that he will show his full potential during these years. He is the first in a line of players from Olimpija’s academy which shows that the coaching in the football school reached a significantly higher level.
