The talented Tihomir Maksimović signed a long-term contract extension!

Tihomir Maksimović signed a professional contract with Olimpija until 2026! The great prospect of the Dragons youth squad managed to prove himself and impress the club management in the last season. This young outside forward, born in 2004, will join the first team in the training camp for the upcoming season.

The talented Tihomir scored 12 goals in 17 matches of the youth squad and had the following to say upon signing the contract: “I am happy that the club was satisfied with my work and that I will be wearing green and white at least until 2026. I want to prove my worth in the future and justify the trust of the management. I am getting ready for the summer training camp for the upcoming season which will be very important for me. I will join the senior squad and I am very happy about it. I know it probably won’t be easy, but I am ready to work and listen to the advice of my new teammates. I believe I can reach my potential and play at the Stožice field in the future.”

We are happy that another player from our youth academy justified our trust and worked hard to make it to the senior squad. This way, the club proves that working with young players is very important and that we should not be worried about acquiring talent in the future.
