Ahmet Muhamedbegović began his football journey in his home country of Austria, where he played for the youth teams of SKN St. Pölten. His performances brought attention to his talent and he was invited to join the Austrian national youth team.

After successful performances in the Austrian second league, he moved to DAC Dunajska Streda, where he had the opportunity to play at a higher level and gain valuable experience in the Slovak first league. During this period, he further improved his defensive skills and showed his versatility and reliability on the pitch. He is a member of Olimpija from summer 2023.
