PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is very important to us. The company FC Olimpija doo respects your privacy and understands the concerns that may arise regarding the privacy and protection of personal data that you provide to us by visiting or. through our websites, online stores or through our mobile applications (hereinafter referred to as: services; online services). Therefore, we ask you to read how the company FC Olimpija doo (hereinafter: the company FCO) handles your personal data.
The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to present to you in a simple way the personal data we collect about you, on what grounds and for what purposes we process it, the options for managing your privacy settings, and your rights regarding personal data.
The FCO Privacy Policy complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation) and the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and covers the following information:

2. LEGAL BASES AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
FCO collects, records, organizes, stores, transmits and otherwise processes the personal data we have about you based on various legal bases and for the purposes defined below.
2.1. Data Protection Officer:
The FCO company processes personal data to exercise rights and obligations under concluded contracts, namely:
- product sales/purchase contracts – personal data of customers provided in online stores at www.nkolimpija.si (regardless of registration);
- contracts for the use of online or mobile services – personal data of service subscribers.
In the context of exercising rights and fulfilling contractual obligations, the FCO Company processes the personal data of individuals for the purposes of identifying the individual, concluding a contract (although the contract for the sale of products between the FCO Company and the buyer in the online store is concluded at the moment when the FCO Company sends the buyer an email message about the status of their order (“order shipped/ready for pickup”), it is considered that the personal data provided in this case is processed on the basis of the contractual legal basis also for the purpose of concluding the contract), for communicating with you, for providing user support, and in the case of a purchase, for the purpose of executing the order, sending notifications to individuals regarding the execution of orders and any other purposes necessary for the execution of the order, for carrying out any collection procedures, and for its own accounting and tax needs.
2.2. Processing based on legal obligations – purposes
FCO processes personal data based on legal obligations applicable to FCO.
2.3. Processing based on legitimate interests – purposes
FCO may process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests pursued by FCO, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data. When it comes to further processing of data collected about an individual, FCO will carry out an assessment in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Such further use of data in pseudonymised or aggregated form constitutes, for example, a legitimate use of the data for marketing and other business or technical analysis by FCO. As an additional measure for some forms of further processing of traffic data, the deletion of certain data may also be used.
Based on legitimate interest, FCO may process personal data to the extent strictly necessary and proportionate to ensure the operation of the online services, as well as to protect its intellectual property rights in relation to the online services.
Based on legitimate interests, FCO may also process your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing (in the case of customers), prevention of abuse, exercise of claims or defense against claims in administrative and judicial proceedings.
2.4. Processing based on consent (consent) – purposes
FCO processes personal data based on the consent to process personal data provided by the individual to the company for the following purposes:
- for the purpose of direct marketing – receiving notifications. Notifications contain current offers, benefits and/or invitations to events of the operator and its business partners, as well as useful advice, news and reminders from the world of sports and a healthy lifestyle;
- to carry out marketing analyses and customer segmentation and to provide tailored product and service offers;
Depending on the personal data provided, you may receive notifications and personalized offers via SMS, MMS to the provided mobile phone number, by email to the provided email address, or in printed form to the provided address.
You can revoke or change your consent at any time in the same way as the consent was given; by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the email or by sending a request to revoke consent for a specific purpose to office@nkolimpija.si.
Where consent includes direct marketing based on the individual’s profile, FCO may perform segmentation of individuals based on their use of FCO’s websites for the purposes of personalized service and product offerings.
3. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
FCO collects various information about you, including personal information that can directly or indirectly identify you, if you or others choose to share this personal information with FCO. We receive information in a number of ways, including when you make a purchase in our online store, when you sign up for e-mail notifications (direct marketing), or when you visit FCO websites. FCO collects information about your use of the services we offer.
Personal data we collect:
- basic personal data such as name and surname, date of birth, email address, residential address (street, street number, postal code, city, country), delivery address (street, street number, postal code, city, country) and telephone number;
- data on the purchase and method of payment, whereby in the case of payment in the online store using a credit card, the content of the card data is not stored in the databases of the FCO Company;
4. COOKIES
When you use our online services, cookies are placed on your computer. In general, cookies and related technologies work by assigning a unique number to your browser or device that has no meaning outside of FCO.
FCO uses these technologies to personalize your experience and to help provide content that is specific to your use.

5. TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA
5.1 CONTRACT PROCESSORS
FCO may share your personal data with third parties with whom we have concluded personal data processing contracts (hereinafter referred to as: contract processors) for the purposes of supporting, analyzing and continuously improving our services, processing payments or delivering orders. Contract processors have access only to the personal data they strictly need to provide the services they provide to us, and only for the purpose of performing these tasks on our behalf and may not use them for any other purpose. Contract processors are obliged to protect your personal data.
FCO may work with contractual processors who process statistical data on how you use our services for us for the purpose of advertising services or displaying information that may be of interest to you. Such processors only have access to anonymized data.
5.2 joint controllers
We may share your personal data with contractual partners with whom we act as joint controllers, who process your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy (e.g. in the case of a prize competition in cooperation with suppliers).
5.3 Universal legal succession
In the event of a merger or if FCO Company is involved in a business merger, division, or transfer of operations to a third party, we may transfer your data to a third party associated with the acquisition of FCO Company.
5.4 Public authorities
Regardless of the provisions regarding the retention period of personal data under the Privacy Policy, we may store your personal data for a longer period and transfer it to third parties such as the police, prosecutor’s office, court and other competent state authorities within or outside the Republic of Slovenia, if we judge that such transfer is necessary and required by law, including for the purposes of preventing, investigating, detecting or prosecuting criminal offences. We may also transfer your personal data to state authorities when this is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims in court proceedings or in administrative or extrajudicial proceedings.
5.5 Transfer of data to countries that are not members of the EU or EEA
In the case of using online services outside the EU Member States, the data provided for the provision of online services may be transferred, stored or processed in third countries where the legislation on the protection of personal data prescribes different standards than in the EU or EEA Member States. By using the services in countries outside the EU, you agree that personal data may be transferred or forwarded to entities located in third countries. FCO itself will not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU or EEA.
6. PERIODS OF PERSONAL DATA RETENTION
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services or longer if there are legal obligations.
Personal data associated with your user account is retained until the account is closed, whereby data related to the purchase made by the user in the online store is retained. You can close your user account yourself in the user account settings or you can ask us to delete it. Closing your user account and deleting your personal data may take up to 10 business days from the complete request. Please note that we may retain some data from closed accounts in accordance with the law, to prevent fraud, to collect debts, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist in investigations by competent authorities, enforce the terms of service and take other measures permitted by law. The data we retain will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Data related to payment for purchases in the online store and related contact information about individuals may be stored for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations until full payment for services or until the possible expiration of the statute of limitations in relation to an individual claim, which can be up to five years by law. In accordance with tax regulations, issued invoices are stored for 10 years after the end of the year in which the invoice is issued.
We store personal data obtained based on consent until the consent is revoked, but for a maximum of 5 years.
We may anonymize and combine information about you that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed with other data that does not allow the identification of an individual to obtain insights into statistical information that is commercially useful to FCO, such as statistics on the use of the services we offer. This personal data is anonymized and does not provide a link to an identifiable individual.
7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We implement several technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data during collection, transmission and storage. FCO strives to protect your personal data appropriately, but we do not guarantee the complete security of the personal data you provide to us and we are not responsible for the theft, destruction, loss, intentional or unintentional disclosure of your personal data or information about you. FCO follows generally accepted standards for the protection of information received both during transmission and after its receipt, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee complete security. FCO uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, which provides encryption of personal data and credit card information. FCO cooperates with a company that ensures the security of our services and your personal data. FCO’s servers are additionally protected by the use of firewalls and other technologies to ensure data security.
The user is also responsible for protecting data by adequately ensuring the security of their mobile device or computer, as well as by protecting their username, password and appropriate software (antivirus) protection of their electronic device. In order to ensure the effectiveness of these measures in preventing unauthorized access to your personal data, you should be aware of the security features available to you through your browser. Use a browser that allows you to set security features before transmitting your personal data or credit card information over the Internet. Please note that if you use a browser that does not support the use of SSL technology, such transmission of personal data may be risky.
Most browsers allow you to be notified if you are on a website that does not provide a secure connection, or if you are sending data over an unsecured connection. The FCO recommends that you enable these features in your browser to help keep your personal data safe. You can also monitor the address you are on (URL). Secure web addresses start with https:// instead of http://, along with the secure connection symbol used by your browser (usually a padlock at the beginning of the web address). This symbol indicates that secure communication with the server is being used. Please also check the details (validity) of the security certificate of the website you are on.
Disclaimer. FCO is committed to protecting your personal data and information, but no connection over the Internet can be 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the complete security of the information you provide to us. You provide us with your personal data at your own risk.
8. RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS
Requests from individuals regarding the exercise of their rights can be sent to the email address office@nkolimpija.si or by post to the address listed above. The individual is obliged to provide proof of identity and/or address for requests that are not sent from the email address of the registered user. FCO will respond to your request in accordance with applicable regulations.
An individual has the following rights regarding personal data:
8.1 Right to access data
An individual may at any time request that FCO confirm whether data relating to them is being processed and, if so, provide access to personal data and provide information regarding the processing of their personal data (e.g. the purpose of the processing, the type of personal data, the users to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed, the intended data retention period, the technical and organizational measures for data protection, etc.).
8.2 Right to rectification
An individual may at any time request that the FCO Company enable them to correct inaccurate personal data concerning them and to complete incomplete personal data.
8.3 Right to erasure
In accordance with the conditions as specified in more detail by applicable regulations, an individual may at any time request that the FCO Company grant them the right to delete personal data (the so-called right to be forgotten).
8.4 Right to restriction of processing
In accordance with the conditions as further specified by applicable regulations, an individual may at any time request that FCO grant them the right to restrict the processing of their personal data. Registered users of online services can do this in their user account settings.
Please note that in the event of restrictions on the processing of certain personal data, we may not be able to provide a full service.
8.5 Right to data portability
An individual may at any time request that the FCO Company enable him or her to provide personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format to the individual or transfer it to a controller of the individual’s choice (if technically feasible), under the conditions specified in more detail by applicable regulations.
8.6 Right to object
Where FCO processes personal data based on FCO’s legitimate interests as set out above, an individual may object to such processing in certain circumstances. FCO will cease processing such personal data unless it determines that we have compelling and legitimate grounds for continuing the processing or the processing is necessary for legal reasons.
Objection to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes can also be made by revoking consent to receive notifications by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button located at the bottom of the email message or by following the instructions in each sent notification.
8.7 Withdrawal of consent
An individual may withdraw consent at any time, in cases where they have given consent for a specific purpose of processing their personal data.
The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data that was carried out until its withdrawal.
8.8 Right to complain to a supervisory authority
An individual has the right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia if they believe that their personal data is being processed in violation of applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data. The procedure for filing a complaint with the supervisory authority is published on the website of the supervisory authority.
9. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
FCO reserves the right to change this privacy policy in accordance with the current situation and legislation in the field of personal data protection. We ask that you review it from time to time.
We will inform you in advance of any changes to the processing of your personal data and/or changes (updates) to the privacy policy. Changes to the privacy policy will also be published in a timely manner on our websites and mobile application pages.
If you do not agree to the privacy policy, please stop using our online services and revoke the consent you have given.
