Olimpija successfully navigated a tricky away game against Radomlje and secured three important new points. The hosts started the match better and scored already in the first minute, when Jaša Martinčič capitalized on a defensive error. The Dragons quickly responded and, in one of their more dangerous counter-attacks, earned a red card for Ognjen Gnjatić, who, as the last defender, was too slow for Dino Kojić.

In the second half, Olimpija took advantage of having an extra player and dominated the field. Dimitar Mitrovski equalized with an excellent long-range shot in the 68th minute, and Antonio Marin, returning from injury, secured the win in a similar fashion in the 83rd minute.

Federico Bessone, Olimpija’s head coach, commented on the path to victory for television cameras after the match: “In modern football, it’s difficult to win, especially against teams like Radomlje, who are well-organized and dangerous in attack. The red card helped us, but it was fully deserved because Dino Kojić had a clear goal-scoring opportunity.”

“I am satisfied because we showed our true character. Sometimes it’s harder to play against ten men, as the opposing team tends to defend deeply. Today, we created some difficulties for ourselves, as we had a huge number of chances but only scored the winning goal at the very end.”

The scorer of the winning goal, Antonio Marin, also expressed his satisfaction with his return: “I had a minor injury, which is now behind me. I’m happy to be back and to have been able to help the team with a goal right away.”
