The national championship continues this weekend with the 28th round of matches. NK Olimpija Ljubljana will travel to face Mura, with the match at Fazanerija scheduled for Saturday, April 4, at 3:00 PM.
The Green-and-Whites initially used the international break for further training, but were granted a few days off due to unfavorable weather and the cancellation of a friendly match in Zagreb. This week, Bessone’s men are back in full swing and already focused on their next league challenge.
“Last week was all about training, followed by three days off, and we returned to work on Tuesday. We are continuing our preparations for the league match against Mura, whom we must beat. The final quarter of the championship is ahead of us; we will play everyone one more time, which means we have a great opportunity for a much-needed improvement in our league standing,” said Portuguese midfielder Bruno Lourenço at the start of April.
Following Saturday’s away match in Murska Sobota, Olimpija will return to Stožice on April 11 to face Aluminij. This will be followed by another away match against Celje on April 15.
