If Mother Nature had given him just an inch more, he would have been a two-footer. And more than welcome in basketball. But Matevž Vidovšek, born in 1999, decided early on to take up football, and more specifically the position of goalkeeper. He started his career in Dravograd, but decided to move abroad at a young age. He sought his fortune in Italy, where he signed for Atalanta in 2016. In Italy, he also played on loan for Pescara and Reggina. In 2019, he moved to Cyprus to join Agia Napa. He signed for Olimpija in January 2021.
