Dear fans, teammates, and everyone who breathes with NK Olimpija,
As 2025 draws to a close, I feel it’s right to address you on this occasion. I’ve been away from the field and the public eye for a while, as I’ve been dealing with personal matters that required time, peace, and, above all, strength.
It wasn’t easy. Football is a part of me and my family, and Olimpija is more than just a club. That’s why the absence was much harder than I could have ever imagined. But life sometimes presents us with challenges that we must first face as people, so that we can then return as athletes.
During this time, I felt what true support means. I sincerely thank the club for their understanding, my teammates for their patience, and all the fans for their loyalty. Your messages, thoughts, and energy accompanied me even when I wasn’t on the field.
I enter the new year grateful and with a clear desire to once again give my all for this crest, for this city, and for all of you. I believe that the best stories are created after the most difficult periods.
In December, I already started training on an individual program, which is also being carried out by other teammates, and on January 15, I will join the team for preparations in Spain.
