The Bežigrad Central Stadium was Olimpija’s home for 60 years. Bežigrad is the oldest football stadium in Slovenia where they played the Yugoslav League and Slovenian national league games. It hosted European giants such as AC Milan, Liverpool, Benfica… The stadium was designed by the legendary architect Jože Plečnik and it was closed in 2008. Olimpija moved to ŽAK stadion in Spodnja Šiška for a while and moved to Stožice in the summer of 2010.

It’s the most modern and biggest stadium in Slovenia, located in the Bežigrad neighborhood in the north part of Ljubljana. Its seating capacity for football games is 16.038. It opened with a football game between the national football teams of Slovenia and Australia. Olimpija first played as host at Stožice a few days later, when they faced Koper in front of a crowd of 7.000 fans.

The record attendance at this largest stadium in Slovenia was marked on July 27th 7. 2014 when Olimpija hosted the English giant Chelsea at a friendly game. There were 15.972 people in the stands.

The stadium has over 500 seats for business partners and other guests, more than 200 seats for the press and other media as well as 97 spots for disabled people. A parking garage is available under the building.
