The Dragons safely landed at Barcelona Airport yesterday, and then took a bus to the base of this year’s winter preparations, which is located in the Torremirona resort. After this morning’s training session, a second one followed in the afternoon, and head coach Federico Bessone took some time for the club’s website.
He summed up his first impressions of this year’s winter preparations in Spain with the words: “I told the guys that we can be grateful for such conditions. They are perfect, so we must also enjoy the hard work. The location, hotel and pitch are excellent. The weather is also serving us well. We have everything we need to improve and address the areas where we need to progress.”
Bessone also revealed something about the working method of the coaching staff: “In the period so far, I can say that we and our coaching staff have learned a lot about the league. Now we have enough time to prepare for the second part of the season. We have clearly identified areas for improvement, and now it is up to us to make the most of these winter preparations and return to Ljubljana better.”
