Following a high-stakes Eternal Derby at Stožice, which ended without a winner in front of 7,000 spectators, head coach Bessone and goalkeeper Vidovšek shared their thoughts.
Federico Bessone: “It was a very evenly matched contest and a tactical performance from both sides. The visitors were better in the first half, but we managed to adapt later on and create some good opportunities that we should have finished better. It was a positive performance for the rest of the championship, but derbies are always demanding. Both teams were aware that a single mistake could decide the match.”
Matevž Vidovšek: “It was certainly a tough game and a draw is probably a fair result in the end. I had the feeling that not everyone was fully focused. We did a good job defensively. A clean sheet is always welcome, but we would have needed more clinical play in attack to get anything more.”
