  • Bessone on the Win against Primorje

Before the last international break of 2025, the Dragons defeated Primorje at home. Forwards Ivan Durdov and Alex Tamm secured the 2:0 victory. Goalkeeper Matevž Dajčar also distinguished himself with several exceptional saves in both halves.

“I won’t lie. In football, it’s certainly important to win three points, but this time we didn’t play our best. If we look at the matches against Koper and Domžale, we deserved more in both games played in recent weeks, but we weren’t successful. Against Primorje, we had some luck, and you need that in football too. We have to work hard, as we’re not quite there yet. But it’s easier to sort things out when you win,” said the head coach of the green-and-whites, Federico Bessone, after the victory in the 15th round of the Prva Liga Telemach.

He added: “Now we face a break before the important end of the calendar year. I’ve been here for a month and a half, but the team still needs some time to get used to my demands. Ahead of us are a few free days, a lot of work, and then the eternal derby. In the upcoming matches, we want to compete and, of course, progress.”
