A year later, Olimpija put a new laurel in the showcase. 30. In May 2019, the Dragons, led by coach Safet Hadžić, faced Maribor in the Celje Cup final and defeated them 2:1 after an excellent performance and two goals from Stefan Savić. In May 2021, Olimpija was again looking forward to winning the cup competition. Coach Goran Stanković led the Dragons to a victory over Celje at the Bonifika in Koper, with Đorđe Ivanović and Nik Kapun scoring for Olimpija in a 2:1 victory.

A new important milestone in the club’s history occurred in the fall of 2021 when, after six years at the helm, Milan Mandarić bid farewell to Olimpija. He sold the club to the German businessman Adam Delius, who arrived in Ljubljana with a clear goal: to elevate Olimpija to a significantly higher level, both in terms of results and, above all, organizationally.
