Federico Bessone, an Argentinian who grew up in Spain, began his rich playing career at Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, then spent most of his professional career in England with clubs such as Leeds, Charlton, Swindon, Swansea, Millwall, and Oldham. He concluded his career in Andorra, where he also began his coaching journey.

He first managed Inter d’Escaldes in the 2021/22 season and won the Super Cup trophy with former Dragons acquaintances. The following season, he moved to Atletic d’Escaldes and led the club to the Andorran championship title.

After lifting the trophy, he transferred to Santa Coloma, with which he also performed excellently in this year’s Conference League qualifications, where among others, he eliminated the heavily favored Borac from Banja Luka.
