Dragons first against FC Kairat
UEFA has announced that NK Olimpija will host the first match of the 1st round of Champions League qualifications at Stožice on Tuesday, July 8th at 7 PM. The return match in Almaty will take place exactly one week later (July 15) at 8 PM local time.

Notice for fans: The number of tickets for the Dragons’ first European match is limited due to UEFA sanctions. Both the north stand and sectors C15-C18 will be closed at Stožice. Season ticket holders in these areas will be relocated.
The Dragons’ opponent won their fourth national championship title last season, and after 14 league matches played, they currently trail league leaders Astana by three points. Kairat last participated in European competitions in 2022, when they were eliminated by Hungarian Kisvarda in the second round of Conference League qualifications. The season before that, they played in the group stage of the Conference League alongside Basel, Qarabag, and Omonia.
