The Dragons head to Sežana in Round 9 of the Prva liga Telemach, where they will face FC Koper at the Rajko Štolfa Stadium. The match will be played in Kras due to pitch renovation at Bonifika.

The Dragons go into the clash with good momentum. In the previous round they defeated NK Brinje 3-0, celebrating their first win by a comfortable margin. Koper, on the other hand, are in excellent form. They are unbeaten in their last four matches, following an opening draw with three consecutive victories. Most recently they got the better of Celje.

Ahead of the final match of the first quarter of the season, Matevž Vidovšek shared his thoughts, stressing that the team must remain focused on their own game: “We couldn’t wait for a win by a bigger margin and in the previous round we managed to do that. Even so, our play must be better. In the Slovenian league anyone can beat anyone, we’ve seen that many times. That’s why we have to think only about ourselves and, regardless of everything, collect the points that will keep us where we want to be.”
