Olimpija’s team set off for Andorra this morning. The Dragons landed in the Spanish city of Lleida on a charter flight and traveled to Andorra by bus. In the evening hours, an official training session followed, along with getting accustomed to the pitch of the new Estadi FAF stadium.
Before the start of training, newcomer Diga stepped in front of the club camera and shared his thoughts on tomorrow’s challenge: “We’re coming to Andorra with a two-goal advantage, but that doesn’t mean anything yet. Inter will definitely be looking for a comeback, for their opportunities, so I believe it won’t be easy. We have a clear goal. We want to control the match better than we did in Stožice. No surprises. We want more composure in defense and ultimately advancement to the third round. We’re aware of the favorite’s role that Olimpija must justify – both in the league and in Europe.”
Inter Club d’Escaldes hosts Olimpija tomorrow at 8:30 PM, when the Dragons will defend their 4-2 advantage from the first match in Ljubljana. You can watch the European clash live on Šport TV.
