After an important victory over Primorje, the Dragons will turn their attention to preparing for the Pivovarna Union Cup quarter-final match, where an away game in Grosuplje awaits them on Wednesday, March 4, at 8 PM. Before Monday’s training, central defender Veljko Jelenković shared his thoughts for the club’s website.

“We are aware that the cup is an excellent opportunity to win a trophy and qualify for Europe, so we are in a favorable position. At Olimpija, the goal every season is to win trophies, so we will be 100% motivated against Brinje,” says the green-and-whites’ central defender.

Jelenković added: “The opponent will be motivated and confident after eliminating Maribor and leading in the second league. We are aware of their qualities and will not underestimate them. On the other hand, we are also an extremely high-quality team and want to continue our excellent run of results in this spring part of the season. Against Primorje, we successfully achieved our goal, and we want to repeat that this week.”
