The green and whites are redirecting their focus to the domestic championship! The Dragons face a challenging test tomorrow against the cup champions from Celje, who arrive at Stožice at 8:15 PM.
Before the 3rd round match of the Prva Liga Telemach, Olimpija’s currently hottest player Diogo Pinto shared his thoughts: “We’re playing against one of the title contenders. It will be a tough match, just like all of them were last season. We need to take advantage of the small details that are extremely important in such duels. If we want to win, we’ll have to be 100% focused.”
That the team has its head in the game was also emphasized by goalkeeper Matevž Dajčar before the important league match and just a few days before the European fixture: “We go from match to match. First preparation for Celje, so we can show ourselves in the best possible light and take three points, and once we’re done with that match, we’ll think about the next European one against Egnatia, which represents a big challenge.”
