NK Olimpija Ljubljana is strengthening its team and consolidating the areas of marketing, sales, and communications under unified leadership. Gašper Repina takes over leadership of the sector, and as Director of Marketing and Communications, will also be responsible for business development and public relations. Concurrently, he has been appointed the club’s spokesperson and the central contact person for the media.
Under his leadership, four departments will operate: digital channels, sales and partnerships, business development, and public relations. Their integration will enable more coordinated planning of club activities, the development of new business opportunities, and a clearer division of responsibilities. A significant part of his work will also involve developing the marketing team and establishing processes that will support the club’s long-term growth.
“Over the past 12 months, Gašper Repina, as an external associate, has very successfully developed the area of club products and their sales together with Technical Director Luka Vrhunc. Due to this progress and the associated restructuring, we are delighted to entrust him with this important leadership role and that he will strengthen our team long-term as a full member of the club,” emphasizes Adam Delius, President of NK Olimpija Ljubljana.
The focus will be on an improved fan experience, higher quality and more accessible communication, and stronger partnerships that will contribute to Olimpija’s long-term development. Special attention will be paid to match attendance at Stožice, the accessibility of club content and offerings, and connecting Olimpija with Ljubljana.
By integrating these areas, Olimpija is strengthening its organizational foundations for further development and generating additional revenue to support the club’s sporting ambitions.
