Jan Gorenc is also returning to The Dragon’s Nest after five and a half years!

Jan Gorenc has joined the Dragons as the fourth summer signing. The Slovenian defender, who returns to Stožice after the 2019/20 season, has signed a three-year contract with the club, valid until the summer of 2028, and will be part of NK Olimpija from the beginning of the pre-season.

The 25-year-old Gorenc returns to the green and white colors with a wealth of experience gained in both domestic and foreign football. After leaving Olimpija, he initially wore the Mura jersey for two and a half seasons. In 2021, he won the national championship title with Prekmurje, and the following season he made it to the group stage of the conference league with them.

His good performances in the 1. SNL did not go unnoticed. The Krško native continued his career in Belgium, where he played for KAS Eupen. In between, he also spent a short time at Bravo, and in the last period he took advantage of the opportunity offered and scored four goals in 22 matches as a defender for Eupen.
