After Saturday’s away match against Bravo, the Telemach First League will be interrupted by the first international break of the year. Eight Dragons will wear the national team jersey in the second half of March.
Member national team
Slovenia will be represented by Timi captain Max Elšnik during the upcoming international break. Matjaž Kek’s team has two friendly matches ahead of them, against Malta (March 21) and Portugal (March 26 / Stožice).
Justas Lasickas has two important matches ahead of him. He will help the Lithuanian national team fight for survival in League C of the UEFA Nations League, playing against Gibraltar twice (23 March away and 26 March at home).
U21
Our U21 national team will be represented by Marcel Ratnik and Marko Brest. Slovenia U21 will play a qualifying match for the European Championship against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Murska Sobota (22. 3), which will also be represented by Zmajev striker Admir Bristrić.
U19
Aldin Jakupović and Dino Kojić have been called up to the Slovenian U19 national team. Miš Breček’s team will face Spain (20. 3.), Austria (23. 3.) and Kosovo (26. 3.) in the Elite Round of qualifiers for the U19 European Championship in Lendava. Matej Dvoršak is currently on hold for a possible call-up.
U17
Slovenia U17 will face Austria (20. 3.), Spain (23. 3.) and Norway (26. 3.) in the second round of qualifiers for the European Championship in March. All three matches will be played in Austria. Mateo Aćimović has been called up to the national team. Svit Hočevar and Žiga Pečjak are also on the waiting list for the Dragons.
