  • Inas Kukavica Signs First Professional Contract

NK Olimpija Ljubljana announces that Inas Kukavica, a member of the youth team, signed his first professional contract today at the club offices.

He is an offensively oriented midfielder, born in 2007, who joined the Dragons this summer from Ljubljana’s Ilirija. Kukavica is distinguished by exceptional technical knowledge and speed. He is strong with both his right and left foot. His undeniable quality and progress have also been noticed by the coaching staff of the first team, and he has been included in training sessions. He got his first senior minutes in a friendly match against Rudeš, and he was also in the squad for the last league match against Koper. Inas is signing his first three-year professional contract as a representative of Slovenia up to 19 years old.

The author of six goals in this year’s EON Next Gen League accompanied the signing of the contract with the Dragons with the words: “The feeling is amazing. This is something I have dreamed of since my first football steps, so I am extremely happy today. Training with the first team of Olimpija is a great experience, as all the guys have warmly welcomed me. Now the next goal is to debut for the seniors in an official match, and this season I also want to help the youth team win the national championship title. So far, we are doing very well.”

Inas, sincere congratulations!
