Youth team midfielder Žiga Pečjak, who is preparing for the new season with the Dragons’ senior squad, has signed a new one-year contract with the club with an option to extend for an additional season.
Upon signing the agreement, Pečjak said: “I’m happy that the club where I took my first football steps continues to show faith in me. I’m convinced that together we can achieve great things. At the start of preparations, I feel excellent and I’m very motivated. I’ll give my all to convince the coaches and earn my place in the team. My biggest wish is to play in front of a full Stožice and delight our fans with good performances.”
The nineteen-year-old from Ljubljana played 28 matches in the EON NextGen youth league last season for the green and whites and scored 14 goals.
Žiga, congratulations!
