The Spanish-born footballer has football in his blood, as the sport was part of his family – his father was a professional footballer, and his younger brother also plays the game.
Alex started his youth career with Valencia CF and in 2014 joined the youth academy of the famous club, FC Barcelona. After two years, he returned to Valencia, where he was promoted to their second team and made his debut in the 2017/2018 season. He got his chance in Valencia’s first team in the Copa del Rey, playing against CD Ebro.
In January 2019, he was loaned to Deportivo Alavés, where he made his Spanish La Liga debut against Real Madrid. He later went on loan to Real Zaragoza, where he scored his first professional goal in the Copa del Rey against RCD Mallorca. After returning to Valencia, he made his Spanish La Liga debut against Granada CF in March 2021.
In 2022, he changed his environment and signed a contract with Italian Serie B club Como 1907. In January 2024, he stayed in the same league but transferred to AC Reggiana 1919.
