The Croatian footballer, who started his football career at ZET, joined the youth academy of the famous Dinamo Zagreb in 2009. Despite interest from a number of European giants, he signed a professional contract with the club in October 2017. He made his debut for the first team a year later and contributed to the win against Inter Zaprešić, and scored his first goal for the national team in 2020 against Varaždin.

He was outstanding in the UEFA Youth League, where he made a significant contribution to Dinamo’s success with goals and assists. He particularly impressed in the quarter-final against Chelsea, scoring two goals.

He was later loaned to Italian club Monza, but returned to Dinamo in January 2021 due to limited playing minutes. He continued his football career in Lokomotiva, Sibenik and Rijeka, where he gained valuable experience playing in the Croatian First League.

Antonio also has a rich national team career, having played for all Croatia’s youth national teams. He made 15 appearances and scored one goal for the Under-21 national team, while he played 27 games and scored 7 goals for the Under-17 national team.
