He started his professional career with the Albanian club KF Tirana, where his performances attracted the attention of foreign clubs. In 2021, he joined Polish giants Legia Warsaw, where he also won the UEFA Cup.

At national team level, Çelhaka was also a regular member of Albanian youth teams.
