NK Olimpija Ljubljana and Mišo Brečko have mutually agreed to part ways as of today.
In light of the current sporting situation, sporting director Necat Aygün presented his decision to the club’s management. Following a thorough analysis of the team’s development in recent weeks, during which the side suffered four defeats and scored just one goal, the club has decided to make a change in the head coach position. Such results have left the team bottom of the league table and represent the worst start to a season in the club’s history. The purpose of this move is a sporting reset with the clear objective of getting the team back on the path to success as soon as possible.
The club thanks Mišo Brečko and his coaching staff – Andraž Kirm, Luka Žinko and Luka Pintarič – for their effort, dedication and work in service of NK Olimpija Ljubljana. We wish them all the best and every success in their future professional and personal endeavours.
