NK Olimpija Ljubljana players held their first summer pre-season training session late this afternoon, thus opening a new chapter under the guidance of the new head coach. Mišo Brečko welcomed 23 players at the introductory meeting in Stožice.
The Green-Whites return to training after the conclusion of the last first league season, having played their final match on May 23. The entire preparatory period will take place at home, and the coaching staff has also planned five friendly matches. The first test will be on the schedule next week. On Tuesday, June 23, the Dragons will face KF Vllaznia, which will also be the new strategist’s first match on Olimpija’s bench.
Also present at the inaugural training session were two returnees from loan – striker Alex Matthias Tamm and goalkeeper Denis Pintol. Among numerous young footballers, summer newcomer Federico Rose donned the green-white kit for the first time. National team players Matevž Vidovšek, Jošt Urbančič, Marko Ristić, and Dino Kojić will join the team at the end of the week.
