Sunday at home with Nafta

The Dragons are quickly turning their attention to the domestic championship! On Sunday, February 16, at 17:30, the match of the 21st round of the First League Telemach vs. Nafta will be scheduled in Stožice. Tickets at pre-sale prices are only available today.

”There is a lot of talk about Europe, our away game in Banja Luka, the upcoming decisive match in Stožice, but first we have to focus on the league match against Nafta, which is also of great importance from a competitive point of view. We want to continue collecting points and maintain our advantage at the top of the table. We managed to achieve our desired goal against Primorje and Koper. Now we have to repeat the exercise against Nafta,” said the Dragons captain Marcel Ratnik.

Olimpija has also defeated Nafta twice in two matches this season. The first was 2:0 in Ljubljana, and the next clash in Lendava ended with a score of 0:1 in favor of the green and whites. In both cases, Matevž Vidovšek kept the net untouched, a total of 14 championship matches he has managed to do so. Alex Blanco, Nemanja Motika and Ivan Durdov were among the scorers against the Lendava team.

Victor Sanchez has no suspended players. The visitors will be without Rok Pirtovšek due to yellow cards. The main referee for Sunday’s match will be Mateo Tozan. He will be assisted by Manuel Vidali and Jure Jamnik, the fourth official will be Denis Halilović, and in the VAR room by Mihael Antič and Grega Kordež.
