During the October international break, we will be able to follow four Dragons from the first team who will don the jerseys of their countries and return to the club next week during preparations for the match against Celje.
Midfielder Mariano Ahouangbo has once again been called up to the Benin national team. He and his teammates will embark on two away matches – in Rwanda and Nigeria, which is considered one of the strongest teams on the African continent and represents a challenging test in the World Cup qualifiers. A demanding test also awaits Estonian national team player Alex Matthias Tamm, who will face Italy and Moldova in Tallinn.
Mateo Aćimović from Olimpija’s senior team will help the Slovenian under-19 national team in the European Championship qualifiers. They will compete for points against Austria, Israel and Luxembourg in Ptuj. His teammate Dino Kojić will assist the under-21 national team in the qualifiers for the European Under-21 Championship. They will face Israel in Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina at Bonifika.
Good luck, boys!
