Thalisson moves to Japan

Nogometni klub Olimpija Ljubljana announces that Brazilian midfielder Charles Thalisson will be a new member of the Japanese second division team Montedio Yamagata from January 1, 2026.

Thalisson moved to the Dragons from Rogaška before the start of the 2024/25 season. He made his biggest contribution in the historic match when qualifying for the UEFA Conference League, when he contributed two goals in the 5:0 victory over Rijeka. At the end of the season, he and his teammates also lifted the Telemach First League trophy. In total, he made 53 appearances in the green and white jersey and scored three goals.

The club thanks Thalisson for his contribution and wishes him good luck in his future career.
