A successful youth school weekend is behind us! The youth, cadets and senior boys of NK Olimpija recorded a perfect result on Saturday. The U15 and U17 teams visited Ilirija, while the youths hosted Ilirija in Jama.

The youth team continues to fight for the championship title. Under the leadership of Boลกtjan Mikliฤ, the Young Dragons took the lead in the match against Ilirija in the 22nd minute, when Jaลกa Jelen scored from the spot. In the second half, the green and whites scored twice more. In the 72nd minute, Aldin Jakupoviฤ was accurate, and in the 83rd minute, Senad Poriฤ, who entered the game from the bench in the 70th minute, scored from the spot. Olimpija thus remains in first place in the EON Next Gen League, and will play a guest match in Velenje, near Rudarju, on Friday at 5 pm.

The U17 team won again on Saturday. After the end of the first half, the home team led 1-0. Immediately after the start of the second half (47′), Mateo Aฤimoviฤ equalized for the green and whites. The U15 team also successfully defeated their peers from Illyria. The score remained unchanged in the first half. In the second half, Sanli Aliฤ first scored a goal for himself (67′), and then Egon Ljubiฤiฤ (80′) beat the opponent’s defense, who also set the final score and gave Olimpija the victory.
