Matevž Vidovšek returns to the Slovenian senior national team, where Jošt Urbančič will join him for the first time!
The combative left-back joined the Dragons in the summer of 2025 and first truly made his mark with an exceptional decisive goal in the season’s first eternal derby. Meanwhile, he established himself as the best individual in his position in the Prva Liga Telemach and deservedly received his first call-up from the newly appointed coach of the Slovenian A-national team, Boštjan Cesar.
Vidovšek, who already has two appearances between the Slovenian posts, returns to the national team for the first time after a longer absence and excellent performances in the 2026 calendar year.
The two Dragons will test themselves in two away friendly matches for Slovenia against Hungary (March 28) and Montenegro (March 31).
Congratulations and good luck, Dragons!
