  • “We have to give more of ourselves.”

Olimpija’s last home match of the 2024/25 season is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. The green and whites would become the new national champions with a victory against Radomlje, tickets are available in advance at a price of 8 EUR for adults and 4 EUR for children.

The Dragons and the Mills have played four matches against each other this year. They have faced each other three times in the championship and once in the cup, and Victor Sanchez’s team has always been victorious. They have scored nine goals and conceded only one.

“We didn’t win in the last round, even though we had more than an hour of extra players. We had to take responsibility, but now we have to gather ourselves, put on a better performance in front of our home fans and win the match, thus confirming our championship title,” says Marko Brest.

The young international added: “It’s true that this season is really long, because we’ve already played a lot of games, but the current series is not successful. But we won’t talk about fatigue. That’s just an excuse. We need to push to the end, give more of ourselves. We want to have more possession and more dangerous transitions into attack, and the goal for Saturday is definitely to confirm the title.”
