  • “We must take responsibility”

Following the Green-and-Whites’ defeat in the 32nd round of the Prva Liga Telemach, Dragons’ captain Matevž Vidovšek also commented after the match, not hiding his disappointment with the outcome.

“The second half was much better on our part. We entered the match again contrary to what we had agreed upon. We prepare all week, we talk about it, and we try to change certain things, but our own mistakes punish us again. We gifted them two balls for two goals, which unfortunately keeps happening to us. I believe the problem is not so much with the coaching staff, but with us, the players. We must take responsibility.”

“It wasn’t just the penalty kick that was decisive; it was primarily about the start of the match, how we enter the duel, how we build our play, and also the attitude of individuals. First mine, then everyone else’s. We absolutely must change this if we want to be at the level Olimpija demands.”

“There are still four league matches left until the end, in which we can achieve our goal. Two of these are against direct rivals for a European spot. Our task is clear. We must collect points and at the same time hope for our competitors’ slip-ups.”
