In the 27th round of the Telemach First League, Olimpija hosted Bravo on their pitch. The green-and-whites opened the match attacking, which paid off in the 5th minute, when Thalisson headed in a cross from Govea. In the 35th minute, Raul doubled the lead from the penalty spot, and Boultam sealed the victory with a great effort in the 73rd minute.
Coach Victor Sanchez said after the match: “Despite the high score, it was not an easy match. Bravo is a compact and well-organized team that is strong in the transition game. I am very pleased because we played according to our plan, which we failed to do in the first two matches of this season.”
“We had to be focused to avoid making mistakes in the duels and transition phase. We also played very smartly against their high pressure, while we also executed it well. That’s how we earned the first two goals.”
