In the home win over Primorje, striker Dino Kojić impressed with a goal and two assists, proving to be one of the key men in the Dragons’ convincing performance. In Kojić’s view, the victory is also important as the perfect boost ahead of the Eternal Derby, which follows next weekend.
“We started the match well, took the lead quickly and in the end won deservedly. I’m happy I was able to make an impact on the game right away, but as a team we quickly wanted to score a second goal to make the rest of the match calmer. We didn’t manage it, so in the second half we looked for new chances, and the goals came after two assists, which I’m very happy about.”
“We believe we can still break into the top three, even though it will be very difficult. We have to win the Eternal Derby next weekend, because it’s clear that in the last three rounds only wins count. In any case, we’ll focus only on ourselves, with Radomlje and Bravo still to come after that.”
