Former NK Olimpija Ljubljana footballer, Žiga Starič, who played for the Dragons’ first team in the 1999/00 and 2000/01 seasons, has left us far too soon. He was also a member of the Slovenian youth national team, while at the club level, he played on both Slovenian and Austrian pitches. After ending his playing career, he dedicated himself to developing young footballers, leaving his biggest mark particularly at Interblock and Ilirija.
