The former defender, who made 111 appearances and scored 4 goals in the green-and-white jersey between 1970 and 1974, has passed away at the age of 80. Born in Serbia, Popadić was a pillar of the Olimpija defense at the Bežigrad Stadium during the former Yugoslav league era.
