Jorge Silva, born on 22 March 1996 in Porto started his football career in the youth teams of Salgueiros, Leixões and Sporting from Lisbon. He made his professional debut for Sporting’s B team, then played for three seasons for Leixões and later for first division club Paços de Ferreira.

He has also played for the Portuguese U18, U19 and U20 national teams (15 appearances). In the summer of 2023, he joined Olimpija Ljubljana and established himself as one of the key players in this successful period for the club.
