The Dragons beat the Canaries for the fourth time this season! Koper couldn’t handle them during this year’s matches. The team from Ljubljana has 73 points and a 15-point advantage over the next team.

Olimpija was excellent in the opening minutes! Anes Krdžalić was accurate from the edge of the penalty area in 8′ and secured the lead for Olimpija. They quickly increased their advantage in 15’! Svit Sešlar masterfully scored to make the score 2-0. Krdžalić took the ball away from Rudi Požeg Vancaš and assisted Sešlar who scored his ninth goal this season. Koper was awarded a penalty shot in 28′ after the foul by Marcel Ratnik and a video review. Bright Edomwonyi scored from the penalty shot.

The home team was awarded a penalty shot in 53′ due to a handball. Timi Max Elšnik took the shoot and increased the lead to 3-1. Bristrić and Aldair also had opportunities but didn’t manage to score. The away team scored another goal in 72′. Andrej Kotnik shot the ball into the upper corner of the door frame. The away team had another opportunity during the last minute of playtime, but Matevž Vidovšek stopped the close shot by Maks Barišić.
