Olimpija will host Klaksvik tomorrow night in Stožice! Before the fourth match of the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Zoran Zeljković, the head coach of the Green-Whites, summed up his thoughts at a press conference.
The Dragons’ coach before the game against the Faroese champions: “Tomorrow we have the chance to correct the impression. I sincerely hope so. I believe we are capable of getting the result we want. I have confidence in the boys and I am looking forward to a good game. In the Faroe Islands, Klaksvik beat us in all ways. We cannot allow that to happen again. Our energy will have to be much better, but we will also have to show more in other areas of the game.”
About a rival that has registered four points in three European games so far: “I expect a similar Klaksvik to the first match between the two teams. Aggressive, organised and dangerous on set pieces. Nothing should surprise us, we have a very tough match ahead of us. I hear that we underestimated our opponents, but far from it. But I believe they are beatable.”
About the Dragons team, its image and aspirations for the upcoming challenges: “We are far from the image I want, but that’s normal. We don’t have much time, the rhythm is hard, we can hardly even do a good training. You just have to adapt in life. I am glad that the boys follow the instructions and do what we agree. As a team we definitely have to give more and then we will score more goals,” said Zeljković.
